Cavco is planning to move into their new machinery rebuilding facility by the end of this year. During the recession, the opportunity to buy right has left us completely outfitted for the expansion. The moving process will be done gradually so no production will be interrupted. Cavco plans to maintain two facilities for a period of time to ensure a trouble free move.

The new facility will be equipped to accommodate large machine tools, as well as tool room equipment. The 18,600 square foot steel building was manufactured by Steelway Corporation in Canada. It was designed to support three bridge cranes and a large jib crane. The total crane lifting capacity, in the new facility will be over 60 tons with high bay ceilings and an indoor loading dock. There will also be temperature controlled spindle and inspection rooms. Our employees are looking forward to air conditioning and an exercise room.
